How can we simplify cosh3x into its basic parts? - basic parts of a sailboat
I know that similar identities with COS and sin, but I have no idea how to set up cosh3x so that you can use cosh2x identity.
I have tried to fill a gap in my knowledge of the exam.

ch (A + B) = coshAcoshB + sinhAsinhB,
sinh (A + B) = sinhAcoshB + coshAsinhB
Use with a = 2x and B = X. Then use it again to get rid of cosh2x and sinh2x. The end result is quite simply in terms of cosh.
